Choose how your snippets expand

Inline expands as you type. Hotkey expands what you typed when you press your keyboard shortcut. You can switch any time in the app.

Execute your first snippet

1. Activate Lightning Assist.

2. Type ;hello in the field below — it expands instantly as you type. No hotkey needed.

Manage your Triggers

You can navigate to the Triggers page to opt in to Hotkey Mode or customize your trigger key for Snippets and Terminal Snippets. As-You-Type Mode is on by default — no configuration needed to get started.
